After the transfer of stocks, the company will be renamed KYOCERA MITA Technology Development Philippines, Inc. (President: Fumihiko Fujiwara; herein "KTDP"). Currently, KYOCERA MITA has software development bases for printers and MFPs at its Osaka R&D Center, Tokyo R&D Center and KYOCERA Technology Development Inc. - which has 2 offices in California (U.S.A.). With the acquisition of ESEP, KYOCERA MITA's software development structure will be comprised in 5 locations.
The purpose of establishing KTDP is part of KYOCERA MITA's global business strategy to strengthen its product development. With the new software development center in Asia, this will expand KYOCERA MITA's global software development capability.
