ID Card authentication is already widely used in many offices: to open doors or to track working hours. With the new family of USB card readers, these same ID cards can also be used to get access to output devices, for increased security and tracking of output.

Designed for seamless integration with KYOCERA devices, the card readers support all major transponder technologies. They can be used without any additional software for local authentication, or combined with server solutions for more advanced functionality like Print&Follow.

Swiping the ID card in front of the card reader, the user can quickly and easily logon to the device to access the device functions and retrieve printouts.
